Susan has over 20 years of professional experience in the health and fitness industry, and loves to use that knowledge on a daily basis to help others reach their health and wellness goals.

Susan was born and raised in North Vancouver, where she spent her childhood and adolescent years dancing jazz, modern and ballet (Royal Academy of Dance).  After high school she attended The University of British Columbia, during which time she taught aerobics while earning her Bachelor’s degree in Medical Science.  Her passion for Health and Wellness led her to Bastyr University in Washington State, where she studied Naturopathic Medicine. Susan also runs a jewelry company, Indigo Star, where she designs and creates a line of crystal jewelry - bringing sparkle and shine to women everywhere.

Susan combines her passion, creativity and love for both health and fitness to lead a specialized group of fitness instructors through an extensive training regimen of barre-based exercises, the result of which is the Barre Fitness technique.
